A.I.
Draw the face!

AI’s imagination is faster than you think.

Done in 30 seconds!

Who is the woman wearing this demure look? Originally, it was an unknown person in a trench coat, but suddenly a face was created! This artwork was generated by Draftype, a Korean fashion tech startup, using generative AI. The AI inferred the connection to the unseen face in the product photo and drew it naturally. It’s important to note that Draftype’s AI model creates faces that don’t exist in the real world, so if you think you’ve seen it somewhere or think it looks like someone, you’re mistaken. How did AI create new faces? In just 30 seconds. There’s a secret to limitless imagination.

AI custom models just for you

The AI’s creativity is fueled by Draftype’s exclusive dataset. It begins with 3D modeling to craft a completely unique face. 3D designers work on the facial features, including optional eye gaze, facial expressions, chin orientation, and composition. The resulting image is then used to train the AI. Instead of using generic internet or cloud server images of human faces, the AI model is developed on the company’s own GPUs, which are semiconductors designed for high-performance graphics processing. It goes through numerous scenarios within a dataset of tens of thousands of images. This learning process enables the AI to interpret, reason, and create images. If you want to put together a collection of your favorite clothes, you can choose from a wide range of models with diverse faces—energetic, calm, different genders and races, from the East and the West. And that face will exist as a one-of-a-kind, never-before-born, custom model just for you.

THE CREATOR: AI

What if AI could create a new human face? If AI could create a facial shape that couldn’t be produced by any of our current genetic combinations, it could finally earn the title of THE CREATOR. (It’s a fun, silly idea, but it’s possible that future humans will have severely protruding eyeballs or two noses due to environmental hormones.) What’s more, AI can distort the present at will. If you snapped a photo of yourself in a summer landscape, sweat melting off your skin in the hot sun, you can now turn it into an Arctic landscape with a single click. Draftype also has a feature that lets you change the background space of a fashion photo shoot. It can learn from a large number of outdoor backgrounds to create a summer season in winter and a winter season in summer. A world where AI creates and changes everything.

Draftype is a South Korean startup that utilizes generative AI technology to develop brand models, with a focus on fashion. They have curated a dataset of AI virtual models representing various genders, races, and ages. The advantage of their approach is that the AI is trained on 3D facial images, eliminating concerns about portrait rights and copyright issues. This significantly reduces the costs and resources associated with traditional photography. With just one click, you can transform a photo of a human model into a photoshoot featuring an AI model, or dress a model in a product photo without a face, and even completely change the background. This technology enables you to accurately realize your desired reference image.
