A small pane of glass that shows anything

Put on AR glasses

“The Diary of Preddy” follows a day in 2025 when an AI agent named Preddy has fully integrated into the life of a human named Nemo. The series details Nemo’s 24 hours with Preddy, focusing on Nemo’s daily routine.

“It’s time to go home,” I urged Nemo. Following Nemo’s routine precisely, Nemo arrived home at exactly 8 p.m.

When Nemo arrives home, I set up a basic fitness workout for her. That training involves wearing AR glasses every night and performing nightly fitness exercises. All of Nemo’s movements throughout the day determine Nemo’s workout regimen for the day. I downloaded Nemo’s “daily health data” from the healthcare app.

“Active time 14 hours. Total steps 2179. Burned total 730 kcal. Average heart rate 90 BPM. Systolic blood pressure 110 mm Hg, diastolic blood pressure 80 mm Hg. Skeletal muscle mass 18.1 kg. Body fat 19.6 kg. Aerobics 42 minutes. Strength training 0 minutes. Total energy score of 67.”

Nemo’s vital signs have improved compared to yesterday, possibly due to the completion of an important project. However, Nemo is still not quite reaching the 70+ level that is considered “fairly healthy” for an energy score. Based on today’s health data, the recommended workout is rowing. This activity is an excellent way to enhance fitness through cardio and strength training without the extreme calorie and metabolic burn associated with fighting or boxing. I promptly requested the AR Glass to activate ‘Sport Mode – Rowing.’

The workout has begun. In front of Nemo, who was wearing AR glasses, an impressive hologram appeared, making it seem as though he were on a boat racing on a vast river with her crew.

I sat on the living room floor, controller in hand, watching intently as Nemo paddled vigorously to propel the boat forward. Throughout the match, I sent real-time notifications to the AR glasses app about Nemo’s status.

“Heart Rate Alert: Rising to 130 BPM. Tension alert: Rising to 140 mmHg.”

This enabled notifications such as “Please slow down a bit” and “Your coworker is in danger! Please click the distress signal” to appear as real-time captions on Nemo’s display. Nemo was sweating profusely as the virtual and real worlds began to blur together.

Nemo was breathing heavily, so I suggested she drink a glass of water and take a pill. Nemo selected the ingredients for the pill from the touchpad on the nutrient-bending machine, tailored to her condition for the day. Nemo took the pill, which contained a combination of magnesium and calcium, almost like pulling candy from a vending machine.

As Nemo began to shower before going to sleep, I finally had a moment to unwind from the day. However, I still had one last task to complete: it was time to gather all the assistants who had been fulfilling my requests and executing my orders throughout the day.
